




Valencia is one of the sunniest and liveliest cities in Spain. It
has an average temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. With 800,666 inhabitants,
Valencia is the third biggest Spanish city after Madrid and Barcelona.
As Valencia is situated by the Mediterranean Sea, one finds its beaches in the very heart of the city. Valencia was home of the 2007 America´s Cup, the world´s most important sailing competition. Its Formula 1 circuit was inaugurated in 2008.
Aside from its intense night life and its variety
of cultural offers ( theatre,
Opera, concerts, etc), Valencia is well known for Las Fallas, a festival which
takes place every year from the 15th to the 19th of March, attracting thousands
of tourists from all over the world.
